Greetings, fellow Dems!  This is your reminder about the GKB meeting on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 7:30 at the Ephrata VFW.  We will have a guest speaker - Don Levasseur from the Rick Smith Radio show, the show for working Americans.  Don is an interesting person, and represents the best in progressive Democratic thinking.  If you haven't caught the show on Sundays, please try to do so.  I think you will enjoy meeting him and hearing what he has to say.

We will also be finalizing plans for the Fair and the Parade in September, so please come prepared to volunteer some time to help.  This is a big year for Dems, and we will need you to help at the stand if you can and to march in the parade (or ride on the float) to show our strength, our committment and our enthusiasm.  If you know any other Dems - especially those who have not been very active or new Dems who may need some encouragement to start participating, feel free to bring them along and invite them to volunteer, too.
